The easiest reality TV shows to get on will require a special talent, a study has revealed. From Hell’s Kitchen applications to The Bachelorette, findings show The Bachelor is far harder to get accepted on.

If you want fame, there’s plenty of reality TV shows to choose from. There’s dating on The Bachelorette, cooking on Hell’s Kitchen, running on The Amazing Race, and mind games on Squid Game.

Easiest reality shows to be accepted on

The top ten easiest reality TV shows to get on have been found, using Google Keyword Planner to analyse search terms such as ‘apply for’, ‘take part in’ and ‘casting call’ combined with 19 of US’ reality shows.

These search volumes were then scaled against the average number of participants in each of the TV shows, to rank the shows with the least competition for places, leading to the following results:

  • Hell’s Kitchen
  • The Bachelorette
  • Squid Game: The Challenge
  • MasterChef
  • The Bachelor
  • The Traitors
  • The Amazing Race
  • Are You The One?
  • The Ultimatum
  • Love Island

Hell’s Kitchen application is easiest

Hell’s Kitchen is the easiest reality TV show to be get accepted on. So, if you can cook well, the chances of you impressing culinary hero, Gordon Ramsay, may be more in reach than expected.

The reality cooking competition has the lowest rate of national average monthly searches relating to applications when weighed against the number of participants per season, compared to other shows.

The study found that the FOX cooking competition is the easiest reality show to appear on, with an average of 1,598 national searches for applications, compared to 18 participants on the show.

Along with this, the findings identified that hopeful chefs in Vermont are searching for ways to appear on the show more than in any other state. You’ll also need a very thick skin to face Ramsay!

The Bachelorette easier than The Bachelor

The Bachelorette is a lot easier to get onto than The Bachelor, because the volume of people searching how to apply is far lower. With 26 participants on The Bachelorette per season, there’s a long cast list.

With an average monthly search volume of 2,407 in the United States trying to apply for The Bachelorette, it’s marginally lower than the 4,997 women hoping to find their match on The Bachelor.

Not only that, but the study also found that single hopefuls in North Dakota are most keen to land a spot on the reality series compared to all other states!
