Jurgen Klopp absolutely raves about 4 West Ham players and Mo Kudus is not one of them

West Ham United take on Liverpool today, and Jurgen Klopp has absolutely raved about some of our players ahead of the match.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and West Ham manager David Moyes will both be desperate for all three points today.

The Hammers have fallen out of contention in the race for the top seven over the past few weeks, whilst the Reds’ title hopes took a hit on Wednesday when they lost to Everton.

Liverpool could be without five key players for today’s game, whilst Moyes could be set to welcome Jarrod Bowen back to the starting lineup.

We will undoubtedly make it hard for the Merseyside outfit today, and I expect a huge reaction from the players after Sunday’s abysmal 5-2 defeat to Crystal Palace.

That performance against the Eagles quite simply wasn’t good enough, especially when we all know just what the players and this team are capable of on their day.

Klopp knows all about the threats we pose, and he has named four Hammers in particular who’ve really impressed him…

Jurgen Klopp absolutely raves about four West Ham players

The German spoke to the media during his press conference yesterday, ahead of the clash with the Hammers this afternoon.

And Klopp responded when asked by reporters what has impressed him about West Ham this season, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo:

Bowen one my favourite players, Paqueta, super-talented, Antonio, top striker. When Bowen is up there they find a solution, Ward-Prowse super signing for West Ham.

The fact that Mohammed Kudus didn’t even get a mention really surprised me!

He is a sensational player and has been a huge hit since he moved to the London Stadium from Ajax back in the summer of 2023.

The Ghanaian has bagged 13 goals and four assists in 41 games in all competitions for the Hammers so far this season (Transfermarkt).

Perhaps Jurgen Klopp simply forgot to mention the 23-year-old West Ham star.

Hopefully Kudus reminds the Liverpool boss exactly what he’s capable of this afternoon by firing us to a big win over the Merseyside giants.
