'To tell you the truth...': Ally McCoist thinks one player will leave Liverpool now along with Jurgen Klopp

Ally McCoist has predicted that one player will follow Jurgen Klopp out of Liverpool at the end of the season after the Reds dropped points against West Ham.

Liverpool‘s April just went from bad to worse this weekend.

The Reds had dropped points in four of their seven games before the clash with West Ham United at the London Stadium, and they’ve done it again.

Klopp’s men came from behind to lead the game 2-1 but Michail Antonio‘s header levelled the game.

Despite Liverpool’s best efforts, they could not find the net again, and their Premier League title dreams are all but over now.

The biggest talking point from the game, however, was what happened between Mohamed Salah and Klopp on the touchline.

Ally McCoist makes interesting Mohamed Salah claim after West Ham 2-2 Liverpool

There was a big surprise when Jurgen Klopp named his starting lineup before Liverpool’s game against West Ham United today.

Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah were both dropped to the bench.

Nunez had a really poor game in the defeat to Everton midweek, while Salah hasn’t been at his best for a few months now.

Klopp decided to bring both players on late in the second half, and something happened on the touchline that seemed to really anger Salah.

The Egyptian had a real go at his manager before coming on. It was about to get so bad that Nunez had to intervene and push the Egyptian away.

Ally McCoist was on TNT Sports this afternoon, and he had his say about the incident.

The pundit believes that when Jurgen Klopp leaves Liverpool at the end of the season, Salah will follow him out of the door.

He further went on to say that a move might just suit all parties.

When asked if Salah will be following Klopp out of the door: “McCoist said on TNT Sports 1 (27 April, 2:50 pm): “Yes, I do, to tell you the truth.

“I think he has been one of the best players we have seen in this league. He has been nothing short of fantastic for Liverpool Football Club, but his form has dipped. I don’t think anybody can argue with that, and it just looks to me, and it’s guesswork, but it looks to me as if he might be moving.

“I think it might be one of these situations where it suits both parties. It might suit Mo Salah to move on, and it might suit Liverpool to reinvest the money they will get for him.”

Jamie Carragher reacts to Jurgen Klopp – Mo Salah spat

Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah have always shared a great relationship over the years at Liverpool. There has never really been an issue between them.

That’s why their spat on the touchline was so surprising.

Jamie Carragher has seen and heard of rows between players and managers hundreds of times over the years, and he now has a theory about what might have happened.

The pundit believes the ‘only reason’ Klopp may have had an issue there is if Salah didn’t get ready quickly enough to get on the pitch.

Carragher tweeted: “The only reason a manager would be unhappy in this situation, is the player took too long to be ready to come on.
