Report: Crysencio Summerville was left absolutely furious at one Leeds teammate in first half last night

Crysencio Summerville did not enjoy his finest evening of the season for Leeds United last night.

The Whites were completely humiliated 4-0 by Queens Park Rangers in the capital as their automatic promotion hopes took a huge dent.

Leeds had a major opportunity to apply real pressure on Ipswich Town ahead of their two games in hand at Hull and Coventry City. They would’ve moved four points clear with a win.

However, almost the entirety of the XI Daniel Farke selected were way below their best, with Jon Newsome stating Summerville in particular had his worst game in a long time.

But he was far from the only one. Illan Meslier was shaky, the defence was appalling, midfield no where to be seen and attack just failing to pull off anything they tried.

Summerville was left absolutely furious at Joel Piroe last night

Summerville is not necessarily one to hide his emotions when things aren’t going his or the teams way, and last night was certainly no different.

When Farke brought him off the pitch at the 75th minute mark at 3-0 down, Summerville made his feelings all too clear with the way he ambled towards the sideline.

However, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, it was in the first half when the 22-year-old really showed his frustration at one of his attacking teammates.

With the score at 2-0, Summerville is said to have been seen angrily ‘remonstrating’ towards Joel Piroe for not making a run that he should’ve done.

Piroe was brought in as Patrick Bamford’s replacement in that lone striker role and if it wasn’t already before, it is just so clear he is not cut out for it.

Winning just two of his 11 duels, not only could he not hold the ball up, but he also doesn’t seem to make the right runs to bring out the best of the three behind him.

Patrick Bamford brings the best out of Willy Gnonto, Georginio Rutter and Summerville

Bamford has, and always will be a player who splits opinion among Leeds fans but there is no doubt he brings out the best of those around him.

Willy Gnonto spoke recently about how under appreciated Bamford really is, and it was shown again last night by Piroe’s inability to replace him.

Leeds have struggled against deep defences all season but QPR did not setup like that in any way, and yet Farke’s dangermen just could not get into the game.

Bamford is much stronger than Piroe with his hold-up play and movement off the ball with last night being a prime example.
