Meghan Markle apparently was not on her best behavior during a charity polo match/Netflix filming moment in Miami, Fla., on April 12.
"She is a very difficult person," royal expert Angela Levin dished. "And we saw that a week or so ago with how rude she was when Harry was doing his polo."
Prince Harry and Meghan were in Southern Florida to take part in a Sentebale event at Palm Beach, which was also filmed as part of a future Netflix show about polo featuring the Duke of Sussex.
"This woman, a very nice, attractive woman in a beautiful white dress moved to stand by Harry," Levin added. "Meghan of course was holding the award and wouldn’t let this woman stand next to Harry. She kept pointing very aggressively. The woman was quite shocked. Eventually, she did move. She had to bend under the award and stand next to Meghan."
Levin continued: "She was the chair of the charity that Harry was trying to make money for which is what he has done for a very long time. I don’t think I can imagine anybody doing that in public, making such a fuss when she’s got nothing to do with polo and nothing to do with the charity. Yet she has still got to hold up the cup to make her feel satisfied. It’s a very interesting vision."
The royal rebels shared a kiss on a polo field, as both supported the Duke of Sussex's charity and Harry's upcoming Netflix series.
"Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level," a Netflix press release read about the fifth in line to the British throne's upcoming series.
According to Netflix's statement: "The first series is curated by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and celebrates the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship." Some analysts are reporting this program will tie into the ex-actress' new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
The statement added: "The second series offers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo, shot primarily at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida. The series will pull back the curtain on the sport." This project is reported to be all about Harry, who has played the sport ever since he was a teenager.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a megawatt, reported $100 million dollar deal with Netflix in the autumn of 2020. The contract initially called for documentaries, movies, children's programming and specials highlighting "diversity and inclusion."
The partnership is set to expire in the fall of 2025.
