CLEARWATER, Fla. \- Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue are on the scene of a traffic crash with serious injuries on U.S. 19 near Enterprise Road.
Multiple calls were received about 7:30 this evening about the crash, which involved a motorcycle and at least one car in the southbound lanes of the highway.

The motorcyclist was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert with potentially life-threatening injuries.
All southbound lanes of US19 are closed south of Republic Drive to Enterprise Road. Drivers should find alternate routes.
