It’s every reality TV fans’s dream come true – The Osbournes are coming back! No, the hilarious family isn’t releasing new episodes. But, they’re rehashing their iconic scenes of times gone by in ‘basement tapes’ with a watch party. During the family’s podcast, Kelly Osbourne recalls a time she was “shot” by her brother and “almost died.”
During the April 23 episode, Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne all get together to talk about their “funniest 911 calls.” It’s safe to say episodes of The Osbornes were jam-packed full of wild moments, so it wasn’t hard for them to recall all kinds of family drama. Jack remembered a time he “almost died” after contracting a tropical disease. Kelly Osbourne also says she “almost died” filming the reality TV show.
Kelly Osbourne’s near-death experience
After Jack and his family recalled his terrifying “near-death experience,” he turned everyone’s attention to his sister and asked her to share if she’d ever almost died.
Trying to remember one of what seemed like a few near-death experiences, Kelly said: “You shot me.”
Jack replied: “I did shoot you… in the leg.”
She continued: “You shot me, and I almost died.”
Mom, Sharon Osbourne, piped up and asked what kind of gun Jack “shot” Kelly with, just to clarify the seriousness.
Although the siblings confirmed it was a “pellet gun,” Kelly urged: “Mom, it went straight through my leg and out the other side.”
Jack stated how the incident was accidental, but added: “You could kill someone with a pellet gun.”
Kelly describes what it felt like
In the midst of the story, Ozzy turns to his daughter and asks: “Did it hurt?”
Kelly explained: “Dad, it felt like someone putting a hot poker through my leg really fast, because it kind of burnt a bit.”
But, she adds: “That wasn’t what was painful about it.”
The 39-year-old said the “most painful part” was having to go to get the wound treated.
She said doctors used a “Q-Tip with idoine and poked it through the hole to make sure there was no bits still…”
Kelly said she “still has beef” with her brother over the fact her “elastic waist Marks and Spencer jeans were ruined” in the process.
