Fire fighters from an area station received a visit from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service’s assistant chief fire officer.
The visit saw Damien West attend to present firefighter Jackson with his 20 year’s service award, as well as past and present crews with their king’s coronation medals.
More than 400,000 of the medals have been awarded so far.
Frontline emergency personnel who had been in paid service, retained or in a voluntary capacity, dealing with emergencies as part of their conditions of service, and who had completed five full calendar years of service on 6 May 2023 are eligible for the award.
