The Security Service of Ukraine attacked the Russian Kushchyovskaya airfield in the Krasnodar region with drones on Saturday, April 27. Satellite images of the aftermath of the attack have been posted online, according to Brady Africk from the American Enterprise Institute (AEI).

The airfield, which was attacked by the SSU and the Defense Forces, was home to dozens of military aircraft, radar stations, and electronic warfare equipment of the Russian army.

Attack on an airfield in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation
On the morning of Saturday, April 27, Russian public media reported a drone strike on the Kushchevskaya airfield in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. Later, RBC-Ukraine's sources confirmed the attack on the airfield and said that it was organized by the SSU together with the Defense Forces.
At the same time, videos from the airfield published by the Russians showed that the drones probably attacked a warehouse of control and correction modules for air bombs. These modules allow the Russians to convert conventional bombs into GABs.
Other attacks on Russian airfields
Recently, the Ukrainian military attacked the airfield in Dzhankoy. As a result of the attack, the Russians lost 4 S-400 launchers, 3 radar stations and an air defense control center.
Prior to that, the Ukrainian army attacked an airfield where Russians stored Tu-95 bombers, which are used to bomb Ukrainian cities.
