"Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba instructed the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General in Munich to keep the case under special control and to be in constant contact with German law enforcement agencies so that the killer is punished to the fullest extent of the law," the ministry said.
The Foreign Minister also expressed his gratitude to German law enforcement for the prompt detention of the suspect.

Yesterday, on April 27, two Ukrainians, men born in 1987 and 2001, were killed in Murnau am Stafelsee on the territory of a local shopping center as a result of stab wounds.
According to the Consulate General of Ukraine in Munich, the Garmisch-Partenkirchen police detained a 57-year-old Russian citizen on suspicion of committing the double murder. The investigation is currently underway.
