Ange Postecoglou has delivered his honest verdict on Arsenal after beating his Tottenham side in the north London derby.

The Australian manager was unable to best Mikel Arteta as the Gunners came away from N7 with a massive 3-2 win against Tottenham, with Arsenal once again ending the matchweek top of the Premier League table.

Despite a late scare brought about by David Raya’s mistake, Arsenal managed to dig deep and claim all three points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what will be one of the biggest results for the Gunners this season.

And Postecoglou has now given his opinion on how he sees Arsenal.

Postecoglou lauds Arsenal after claiming north London honours vs Tottenham

Speaking to the press via Football London, Postecoglou admitted that he was impressed with Arsenal, with the Tottenham boss giving the Gunners credit for being where they are in the Premier League.

Postecoglou said when asked about Arsenal and his opinion on the north London giants: “Credit to Arsenal there, they’re there. They deal with those details. You can’t give time to opposition.”

With Arsenal peaking at the right time this season learning from last year’s mistakes, it’s safe to say that Arteta’s side deserves to be where they are in this current stage of the Premier League campaign.

And for Postecoglou to praise Arsenal in such a manner is a testament to how well the Gunners have approached this season, with the Premier League title on the cards with three games to spare.
