UPDATE: Man charged in fatal weekend stabbing
A 32-year-old man was stabbed to death Sunday night in Perth Amboy, authorities said.
Jason Torres, of Perth Amboy, was found on the sidewalk near the corner of Smith and Maple streets just before 9 p.m., the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office said Monday.
Torres was brought to an area hospital, where he died of his injuries.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
