Former President Donald Trump took to his personal social media site to claim that all of the trials against him should be dropped and civil cases overturned.
"Today’s Historic Decision by the Supreme Court should end all of Crooked Joe Biden’s Witch Hunts against me, including the New York Hoaxes - The Manhattan SCAM cooked up by Soros backed D.A., Alvin Bragg, Racist New York Attorney General Tish James’ shameless ATTACK on the amazing business that I have built, and the FAKE Bergdorf’s 'case,'" the ex-president rambled on TruthSocial.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Monday that as president, Trump has immunity for core official acts. But Trump wasn't president when he came up with the hush money scheme with actress and director Stormy Daniels that led to his conviction on 34 charges of business fraud earlier this year. The case was prosecuted by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The so-called "FAKE Bergdorf's case" that Trump references is the lawsuitfrom E. Jean Carroll alleging that Trump defamed her when he called her claims of sexual assault were a lie.
She won two of the cases, one in which Trump was accused of defaming her when he wasn't president and one when he was. In that case, the court ruled it was not an official act as president.
The civil business case for Trump and the Trump Organization was also not related to official decisions made while he held the presidency.
