Ukraine and Switzerland will host the Global Peace Summit on June 15-16. A large number of countries have already been invited to the event.

Who has confirmed participation
As of today, only a few countries have publicly confirmed their participation in the peace summit.
President of France Emmanuel Macron has confirmed that his country will attend the summit. He called the meeting a very good initiative that will bring together a number of countries to prepare the conditions for peace between Russia and Ukraine.
Additionally, Prime Minister Robert Fico of Slovakia stated after meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Denys Shmyhal, that his country has agreed to participate in the peace summit.
It is also obvious that Switzerland will be present at the event, as it is the host country of the summit.
It is worth noting that in early April, the Swiss newspaper NZZ wrote that US President Joe Biden was likely to attend the peace summit. US officials have not yet confirmed this information.
At the same time, Voice of America journalists emphasized that the White House has not decided who will represent the United States at the summit.
Which countries have been invited
In February of this year, the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, said that Ukraine would invite more than 160 countries to the peace summit. The summit aims to "finalize" all agreements reached in previous meetings at the level of advisors to the heads of state, which numbered five.
The summit will include all of Ukraine's allies who have provided military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, as well as countries in the Global South that have not sharply criticized Russian aggression.
In particular, invitations have already been sent for:
Côte d'Ivoire;
Uruguay
China
India
Ecuador;
Belize;
Ukraine also invited not only representatives of states but also international blocs and organizations. This includes, for example, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
Who is on the “red list”
Representatives of Ukraine have repeatedly stated that they will not invite Russia to the first peace summit.
The head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, admitted that representatives of Russia could be invited only to the second such summit. There they could be presented with a plan that would be approved at the first summit.
Russia has openly refused to participate in the summit. This has been stated several times by Russian diplomats.
Peace summit on Ukraine
The peace summit will discuss the Ukrainian peace formula, which should become the basis for ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.
