Leandro Trossard has just sent a 25-word message to one Hollywood Arsenal fan

Arsenal attacker Leandro Trossard just sent a message to one of the club’s Hollywood supporters.

Oscar-winning actor Anne Hathaway recently revealed herself to be an Arsenal fan when she interrupted an interview to celebrate Leandro Trossard’s goal against Wolves.

Hathaway was recording an interview alongside co-star and fellow Arsenal fan Nicholas Galitzine when he informed her of the Belgian’s first half strike at Molineux Stadium. She then celebrated the goal in footage released by interviewer Lauren Veneziani on X.

In rejoicing at Trossard’s goal, Hathaway exclaimed “I love you,” before explaining to Veneziani that “we’ve had a rough week,” referencing the recent back-to-back defeats Mikel Arteta’s side had just sustained against Aston Villa and Bayern Munich.

The North London club got back to winning ways against Wolves, and have since recorded a 5-0 win over Chelsea and have triumphed by a 3-2 scoreline against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby. Trossard started both matches and got on the scoresheet again against the Blues.

Trossard has been described as the best finisher in the Arsenal squad and has made a huge contribution this season. The 29-year-old has racked up 15-goals this season across all competitions and has enjoyed regular starts ahead of Gabriel Martinelli in recent weeks.

Arsenal are now in talks with Trossard over a new contract.

Arsenal’s Premier League title dream is still alive and kicking thanks to these recent triumphs, much to Hathaway’s presumed delight.

Trossard has now sent a message to the A-lister. In a video clip shown on American TV show Today, on which Hathaway was a guest, the Belgium international said “Hey Anne, I really loved your celebration the other day for my goal. Keep supporting us and I’ll hopefully see you soon at the Emirates.”

Other famous Arsenal fans

Hathaway is not the Gunners’ only famous fan. Actor Tom Hiddlestone has also been spotted in attendance at Arsenal games alongside club legend David Seaman.

Broadcaster and Arsenal supporter Piers Morgan has also been vocal in his belief that the club will triumph in the Premier League title race this time around.

Hathaway will be hoping that Morgan’s prediction comes true. Arteta’s side must now win all of their remaining Premier League games and hope that Manchester City slip up in the run-in if they are to stand any chance of landing their first league title in twenty years.
