Police have released an e-fit image of a man following an attempted robbery and assault in a town centre.
Officers would like to identify the man after four men tried to rob a woman of her watch before assaulting her in Romney Place near Maidstone bus station.
The victim reported that between 1.30pm and 2.10pm on Friday, April 5, the men chased her down the road after she refused to hand over the watch.
She suffered bruising to her face but the watch was not taken.
Following enquiries which included reviewing CCTV and conducting house-to-house enquiries, the victim has now completed an e-fit of a man officers would like to identify.
