According to the Oxford Eagle, former Ole Miss basketball player and member of the 2023-24 team, Jamarion Sharp, has been arrested for shooting at a person.

The Eagle wrote that a “former member of the University of Mississippi Men’s Basketball team was arrested Friday for allegedly shooting at a repo man.” That man was Sharp.

“During their investigation, detectives discovered that a vehicle was in the process of being repossessed when Jamarion Demontrez Sharp, 22, of Oxford fired a gun toward the person repossessing the vehicle.

“No one was injured. Sharp was taken into custody and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked for aggravated assault. He was given a $100,000 bond by the Municipal Court Judge.”
