Dance show faves reunite for 'dramatic' spectacular - 'We're a brilliant combination'

Nikita Kuzmin and Layton Williams may not have bagged the Glitterball Trophy last December. But the Strictly Come Dancing runners-up are still cha-cha-cha-ing their way through the year. The dynamic duo won hearts all over the country and they’re now collaborating on a new project together.

After appearing on Strictly Come Dancing, Nikita starred on Celebrity Big Brother this year. The nation fell in love with him even more. But, the dancing star was pipped to the post once again, this time becoming a runner-up to Ibiza Weekender star David Potts.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita and Layton

After proving they’re a dream duo on the dancefloor, Nikita and Layton aren’t stopping at Strictly Come Dancing to show off their talents.

Speaking on The One Show on Monday, April 29, the two explained how they’re collaborating on a live show promising to be “a show people have never seen.”

The two are reuniting for a live dance spectacular. And, when it comes to the outfits they plan on wearing, Nikita said: “We have everything you could have ever imagined possible…”

He adds: “This man sitting next to me loves a sparkle, loves a dress, loves a costume, loves anything that is extravaganza, anything that is moda… anything that is fierce.”

Pro dancer Nikita continues: “At the end of the day we want to bring a show people have never seen. I think us two is a brilliant combination. We love the fact that people supported us on our journey on Strictly.”

Layton says ‘expect drama’

Via social media, Layton and Nikita share the dates for their live shows set to take place this summer.

The duo says “drama” can be expected from their dance spectacular with Layton asking: “Am I the drama?” on The One Show.

Although the two are reuniting for three stage shows, it marks the last time they’ll be dancing together as everyone’s favorite duo.

The two perform in London on June 30 and Manchester on July 16 per the official website. The dancers have added an extra matinee performance in London which begins at 14:30.
