Ukrainian troops repelled 33 Russian attacks in the Bakhmut direction, held their positions, and repelled the Russian forces' assaults in the Kherson direction. Ukrainian missile forces hit 2 Russian radar stations, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling of Ukraine
Over the past day, 115 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy launched 5 missile and 47 air strikes, and fired 90 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Civilian infrastructure facilities were destroyed and damaged.
Russia carried out air strikes in:
- Leonivka, Chernihiv region;
- Usok, Sumy region;
- Lyptsi, Vesele, Neskuchne, Mala Vovcha, Borova in Kharkiv region and the city of Kharkiv;
- Stelmakhivka and Serebrianske Forestry, Luhansk region;
- Torske, Semenivka, Paraskoviivka, Chasiv Yar, Kostiantynivka, Arkhanhelske, Kalynove, Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, Yasnobrodivka, Karlivka, Novopokrovske, Yevhenivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Oleksandropil, Makarivka, Staromaiorske, Velyka Novosilka and Urozhaine, Donetsk region;
- Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia region;
- Mykhailivka, Lvove, Krynky and Kizomys, Kherson region.
Over 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under Russian artillery fire.
Situation at frontlines
The operational situation remains unchanged in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the Russians maintain a military presence in the border areas and conduct sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 9 Russian attacks near Berestove and Novoserhiivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Lyman direction, 13 attacks carried out by the Russian troops with the support of aviation were repelled in the areas of Tverdokhlibove, Nevske, and Serebrianske Forestry in the Luhansk region; Terny, Torske, and south of Zarichne in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 33 Russian attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Verkhniokamianske, Novyi, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Rozdolivka and Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, where the Russians, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation.
In theAvdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 24 Russian attacks in the areas of Arkhanhelske, Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, Sokil, Solovyove, Semenivka, Orlivka, and Netailove in the Donetsk region, where the Russians, supported by air power, tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the Russian troops in the vicinity of Kostiantynivka, Heorhiivka, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, where the Russians, supported by air power, tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 20 times.
In the Orikhiv direction, Russians, supported by air power, attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 7 times near Staromayorske, Donetsk region, and Novodarivka, Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, Russian troops do not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units from the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, over the past day, it made 3 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian forces, depleting the Russians along the entire front line.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 5 areas of concentration of Russian personnel.
Ukrainian missile units struck 1 area of Russian troops' concentration and 2 Russian radar stations.
