Juventus plotting move to sign ‘outstanding’ Arsenal star, he's tempted to leave

Juventus are reportedly plotting to move for one of Arsenal’s star players this summer, who could be tempted to leave in the transfer window.

The Gunners are set for a busy few weeks when the market opens for business, with a number of Arsenal players linked with moves away from north London as Mikel Arteta looks to raise vital funds to improve his own squad.

Thomas Partey is reportedly a target for Saudi Arabian clubs whilst English trio Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and Aaron Ramsdale are all expected to leave having failed to make much of an impact at Arsenal this season.

And another big-name player could also be on the move this summer from Arsenal.

Juventus interested in Jorginho as midfielder weighs up Arsenal exit

According to CalcioMercato, Juventus are interested in signing Jorginho, with the 32-year-old Arsenal midfielder seemingly tempted by the prospect of returning to Italy to play for the Serie A giants.

Recently lauded by Arteta as an ‘outstanding’ player, Jorginho’s future is up in the air at the moment with the former Chelsea star now likely to leave this summer despite reports that the midfielder could sign a new contract.

Jorginho’s performances this year against the likes of Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion have been massive for Arsenal, with the Italian international proving to be a real leader for the Gunners this season.

However, if a tempting offer was to come in for the 32-year-old, Arsenal might be tempted to sell Jorginho, who is seemingly set on a return to Italy once his time in the Premier League is over.

Tempting offer could be enough to see Jorginho leave this summer

The prospect of Jorginho leaving this summer is an unusual one given how good the midfielder has been in big games for Arsenal this season.

Yet at 32, Jorginho is not getting any younger as Arteta this summer plans to bring in another midfielder to compete alongside the likes of Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.

And if a tempting enough offer is made from Juventus for Jorginho, Arsenal might be in no position but to accept the bid, with the Gunners in need of recouping as much as possible this summer.
