Hungerford woman Joanne Hall caught in charge of car after taking cannabis

A WOMAN was caught in charge of a car after taking drugs.

Joanne Hall appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 2.

The 41-year-old, of Kennet Way, Hungerford, admitted being in charge of a Volkswagen Golf in Newbury Retail Park on September 19 last year when the proportion of the Class B-controlled drug cannabis in her system, exceeded the specified limit.

Ms Hall, who was legally represented by Kate Macnab, was fined £228.

In addition, she was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £91.
