‘That’s a good sign’: Pundit says there’s one Liverpool player who’s actually improved recently

There hasn’t been much to shout about at Liverpool recently.

Indeed, this last month has been nothing short of a disaster for the Reds. They’ve gone from being potential quadruple chasers to having nothing to play for, and even the most positive supporter would struggle to find any positives in this period.

However, speaking on The Two Robbies Podcast, Robbie Mustoe has managed to find one positive to take away from the Reds’ recent performances.

Indeed, Mustoe stated that aside from Liverpool’s poor form, he does think that Ryan Gravenberch is seriously improving on a weekly basis.

Ryan Gravenberch is improving

Mustoe spoke about the midfielder and his recent performances.

“I thought, just randomly, I thought that Ryan Gravenberch is looking better and better every single week, that’s a good sign for them,” Mustoe said.

Ryan Gravenberch could become brilliant

Ryan Gravenberch hasn’t had the easiest of debut seasons at Liverpool, but this is still a young man with bags of potential.

At the age of just 21, Gravenberch has so much room to grow and improve, and with Arne Slot coming in this summer, the midfielder could take a serious step up.

Of course, it’s not as simple as this, but the fact that Slot is a Dutch coach who will know Gravenberch well from his time in the Eredivisie will certainly help his cause.

Indeed, sometimes you just need a manager who has a clear plan in mind and faith in your abilities to fulfil your potential, and who knows? Perhaps Slot could be the man to bring the best out of Gravenberch.

The midfielder is flourishing in a time when his teammates seem to be faltering, and that is a promising sign heading into next season.

Don’t be shocked if Gravenberch proves to be an important player for Liverpool next term.
