That has naturally seen plenty of iconic names through the years wear the badge with pride.
Some of those were great goal scorers, who have set the standard for what it means to be a Leeds legend.
So with that said, here’s a look at the top ten Leeds United record goal scorers of all time, ranked from lowest to highest.

10 – Russell Wainscoat – 93 goals
Russell Wainscoat spent six years with Leeds United, between the years of 1925 and 1931.
The left-forward scored 93 goals in his time with the club, becoming a popular figure with fans during that spell as a regular in the side.
Wainscoat earned one England cap, which came during his spell at Leeds.
9 – Jack Charlton – 96 goals
Despite being a centre-back, Jack Charlton finds his way onto the list of all-time Leeds United top scorers.
The robust defender spent his whole 21-year career with the Whites and was well known for being part of the World Cup-winning England squad of 1966.
With Charlton in the backline, Leeds saw the most success in the club’s history, with a few goal contributions along the way.
8 – Charlie Keetley – 110 goals
Charlie Keetley was a centre-forward who featured for Leeds from 1927 until 1934.
That seven-year spell saw the striker score over 100 goals for the Whites before he moved on to play for Bradford City, Reading and Stalybridge Celtic.
7 – Mick Jones – 111 goals
Striker Mick Jones was part of the Leeds United teams in the glory years, featuring from 1967-1975.
The forward scored 111 goals, guiding the team towards two First Division titles, the FA Cup, the League Cup and their two Inter-Cities Fairs cups.
6 – Johnny Giles – 114 goals
Johnny Giles played in midfield for Leeds United as another stalwart from their famous sides in the 1960s and 1970s.
In a 12-year stint, Giles bagged 114 goals across all competitions for the club, winning eight honours in that time.
5 – Billy Bremner – 115 goals
Billy Bremner is one of the club legends synonymous with Leeds United.
The midfielder spent 16 years at the club, scoring 115 goals and captaining the club towards their success from 1965 onwards.
Bremner has been recognised as one of the greatest midfielders in Scotland’s international history, as well as one of the best to play in England.

Tom Jennings joined Leeds in 1925, spending six-years at the club, where he went on to score 117 goals as a striker.
3 – Allan Clarke – 151 goals
Allan Clarke was a versatile forward for Leeds, featuring for the team between 1969 and 1978.
In nearly 300 appearances for the Whites, the England international scored over 150 goals during a successful period.
2 – John Charles – 157 goals
John Charles ranks second in Leeds United’s all-time goalscoring charts, having scored 157 goals across two stints for the club in the 1950s and 1960s.
Charles was able to play as both a centre-forward and a centre-back, given his height and physicality.
1 – Peter Lorimer – 238 goals
Peter Lorimer is the all-time top scorer for Leeds United, bagging 238 goals over two spells for the club.
The playmaker featured from 1962 until 1979, before several trips abroad brought him back for a second stint from 1983 until 1985.
Lorimer was the club’s youngest-ever player, renowned for his powerful strikes from distance. He went on to win seven trophies with the Whites.
