Today, April 30, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a large number of meetings on military issues. In particular, the disruption of Russian plans was discussed, stated Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“Today, there were many meetings on military issues - on the situation at the front, the occupier's offensive, and our actions - both to disrupt Russian plans and to achieve our goals,” the President said.

According to him, there was a report by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, as well as discussions with Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on the supply of weapons from partners.

“We need a significant acceleration of supplies to significantly strengthen the capabilities of our soldiers. It is not Russian air bombs and assault operations that should dominate at the frontline, but our Ukrainian initiative - air defense, our artillery, our drones,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

He clarified that Ukrainian production and all those who support the defense forces help solve this problem. Particular results have been achieved in the sphere of drones.

The President noted that Ukraine is relying on the promptness of supplies from the United States.

“These are supplies that should be seen in the destroyed logistics of the occupier, in their fear to base anywhere in the occupied territory, and in our strength - in the strength that should show itself in the Pokrovsk, Kurakhivske, Siverske, Lyman, Kupiansk directions and southern areas of the country,” Zelenskyy added.

Possible Russian offensive

At the end of March, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed new plans of the Russian army. According to him, the enemy is preparing a new offensive, which could begin at the end of May or in early June.

A few days later, the President also said that the Russian forces were preparing to replenish their army with another 300,000 people as part of mobilization.
