In Ukraine, there have been 122 military clashes on the front lines over the past day. The enemy has been actively pushing against the positions of defenders in the Avdiivka direction.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Russian shelling of Ukraine
Overall, the enemy launched 8 missile strikes and 61 airstrikes, conducted 129 shelling operations with rocket artillery on the positions of our troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Civilian infrastructure has suffered destruction and damage.
During the past day, populated areas were subjected to airstrikes:
- Vodolay, Yamne in the Sumy region;
- Vesele, Kharkiv, Vovchansk, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Podoly in the Kharkiv region;
- Serebrianske Forestry and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region;
- Yampolivka, Siversk, Verkhniokamyanske, Chasiv Yar, Novobakhmutivka, Prohres, Netailove, Zhelanne Pershe, Nevelske, Yevhenivka, Paraskeviivka, Kostiantynivka, Vodiane, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske, Storozheve, Velyka Novosilka, Novyi Komar in the Donetsk region;
- Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region;
- Mykolaiivka, Tiahynka, Yantarne in the Kherson region.
Over 120 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.
Situation at frontlines
The operational situation remains unchanged in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the Russians maintain a military presence in the border areas and conduct sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled 6 attacks in the areas of Berestove, east of Kopanky in the Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.
On the Lyman direction, the defense forces repelled 21 attacks carried out by the enemy in the areas of Novoyegorivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevsky, and Serebryanske Forestry in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Terniv in Donetsk Oblast.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 33 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast; Verkhniokamyanske, Rozdolivka, Spyrne, Novyi, Klyshchivka, Andriivka, and Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast.
In theAvdiivka direction, defenders repelled 33 attacks in the areas of Arkhangelske, Keramik, Sokil, Umanske, Semenivka, Yasnobrodivka, and Netaylove in Donetsk Oblast.
In the Novopavlivka direction, our military continue to hold the enemy in the areas of Heorhiivka, Paraskeviivka, and Urozhainoe in Donetsk Oblast, where the enemy attempted to break through our troops' defense 18 times.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 5 times in the areas of Staramayorsk in Donetsk Oblast; Robotyne and southwest of Bilohirya in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy persists in its intent to dislodge our units from bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the past day, they launched 2 unsuccessful attacks on our troops' positions.
Russian losses
During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 12 areas of concentration of enemy personnel. Also, during the night, two reconnaissance UAVs of the enemy were destroyed by the forces and means of Ukrainian air defense.
Rocket troops units struck one area of concentration of personnel and one anti-aircraft missile system of the enemy.
It is worth reminding that, according to ISW data, the aggressors are pressing in the area of Robotyne, however, the Defense Forces have restored positions near Kremennaya in Luhansk Oblast.
Meanwhile, Russians may initiate an offensive on Toretsk to accelerate the occupation of Chasove Yar.
