All eight managers linked with replacing Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea

The next few weeks are going to be crucial in determining what the future holds for Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea.

The Argentine is under pressure to deliver European Football to Stamford Bridge in his first season in charge, amid the underperforming nature of some of the sides around them.

Pochettino has not been helped by the vast amount of injuries the Blues have suffered this season. He is currently without a fit right-back off the back of injuries to Reece James and Malo Gusto.

Nevertheless, the blueprint was clear in the spirited second half display against Aston Villa, and there will be eyes on if this can continue from now to the end of the season.

If not, those on the board will be likely to look elsewhere, with a number of names already being linked with the potential vacancy. Below is a comprehensive list of everyone who has been rumoured to be considered already for the role.

Ruben Amorim

A number of top clubs are reportedly considering taking the risk on the relatively inexperienced Ruben Amorim.

Reports have claimed recently that the Blues have actually already met with the 39-year-old, however the club have come out to deny that fact.

Roberto De Zerbi

Despite poor form at Brighton in 2024, Roberto De Zerbi is still firmly on the list of potential options at Stamford Bridge.

It has even been reported that the Italian is the number one candidate at this stage to replace Pochettino.

Jose Mourinho

Perhaps the most popular option amongst some supporters, Jose Mourinho has seen his name sung by fans in frustration during this campaign.

It has been reported that the Portuguese boss is‘desperate’ for a third term at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel

A Champions League winner at Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel is set to be out of a job this summer after his short spell at Bayern Munich.

Despite being linked with a sensational return, it feels as if the chances are low of this one coming to fruition.

Julian Nagelsmann

Currently in charge of the German national team, it has been claimed Julian Nagelsmann is keen on a return to club management, particularly in the Premier League.

Chelsea strongly considered bringing him in last summer, and would almost certainly be in the running for him again should he leave his current post.

Thiago Motta

Thiago Motta is currently enjoying a brilliant season over in Italy, as he proves to be one of the most promising coaches in the game.

However, it does feel as if he is set to take over at Juventus this summer.

Simone Inzaghi

A league winner already this season, Simone Inzaghi will certainly have a lot of suitors should they be able to convince him to move this summer.

It has been reported that Chelsea have asked for information this year in an attempt to see if a deal would be possible.

Michel

Taking La Liga by storm this season, Michel has made his case to be hired for a bigger job at the end of the campaign.

It was reported back in March that Chelsea had made an offer to him to replace Pochettino already.
