Ukraine is preparing seven more new agreements on security guarantees. One of these agreements will be signed with the United States of America, reported Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“We are working on seven new security documents for our country - bilateral security agreements. In particular, the security agreement with the United States. Today, I worked with the team on the specific details of these documents, including weapons, finances, and political cooperation, and some of them already have preliminary text of agreements,” the President explained.
Zelenskyy noted that each of the security agreements will support Ukraine this year and in the years to come. "Security architecture until NATO accession. We are filling the draft agreements with stronger opportunities for Ukraine and for our collective security with partners. Clearly, a special priority is everything that will provide more protection from Russian terror,” he summarized.
Security guarantees
Ukraine has already concluded nine bilateral security agreements: with Great Britain, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, and Latvia. This document is signed in accordance with the Joint Declaration of the G7 in support of Ukraine.
