Sales this summer will be vital if Manchester United are to have the overhaul needed in terms of transfer arrivals, now one prime choice has interest.
For Ineos, the Manchester United squad is one they’ll be keen to thin out with several players on too high a wage to justify keeping.
The previous leadership group that oversaw this mess are now all but gone, and this summer will be the start of undoing this.
With Raphael Varane almost certain to leave, along with Anthony Martial, there will be a hefty chunk wiped off the wage bill.

But this won’t be enough, and some big sales are also to be expected with the likes of Mason Greenwood being linked away with a £50m asking price.
Now, interest has arrived for one player that United will be desperate to see the back off.
Turkish interest arrives for Casemiro
According to Turkish outlet Aksam, Casemiro could be about to be the subject of interest from not one but two Super Lig sides.
Both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are said to be interested, with the latter allowing him to reunite with Fred.
While he’s a player we’d be keen to see depart, Casemiro still has value, and it’s a value we are probably unlikely to receive from a Turkish side.
Earlier this year, the interest from Saudi Arabia was reported, and this is something we’d be far more in favour of, given they’d be able to pay substantially more than either Galatasaray or Fenerbahce.
Casemiro’s exit from Manchester United looks all but guaranteed
One of this season’s biggest drop-offs has been Casemiro after his barnstorming opening campaign at Old Trafford.
Season two has been a drastic regression with the Brazilian 32-year-old losing his legs with the game passing him by far too easily.
This has probably expedited his exit, with a replacement among this summer’s priority targets.
The sale of Casemiro will hand United a huge wage boost but also should add a few million at least to the transfer kitty.
