Ukraine has invited Azerbaijan to participate in a future peace summit planned to be held in Switzerland. Kyiv has also offered Baku to join the peace formula, according to Olena Kondratyuk, Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada.

She noted that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, confirmed that Baku would actively participate in the international conference on the restoration of Ukraine. It will take place in Berlin in June this year.

"On behalf of Ukraine, I also invited Azerbaijan to participate in the peace summit in Switzerland and to join one or more points of President Zelenskyy's Ukrainian peace formula. For example, in the areas of energy security or demining," the MP said.

She also raised the issue of the return of Ukrainian children illegally deported by Russia and proposed that Azerbaijan join the International Coalition for their return.
