Captain America toys arrive at McDonald's nine months ahead of new movie

McDonald’s latest Happy Meal toys are themed around Marvel’s Captain America, nine months ahead of the new movie release.

Brave New World has been pushed back to February 2025, but it had an original release date of May 2024, so the toys have arrived early.

The Marvel toys launched on May 1 and will be available for a limited time, with eight different characters to collect.

Each one is a small plush with a string attached, so it could be used as a bag charm or even hung on a Christmas tree.

The toys offer a huge spoiler as there’s a brand new character Red Hulk who hasn’t appeared in any of the movies before.

His alternate identity is Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who will be played by Harrison Ford in Brave New World.

The plot for the fourth instalment is still being kept under wraps, but it will focus on Sam Wilson’s journey as he adapts to his new role as Captain America.

You get one toy when you order any McDonald’s Happy Meal, which also comes in a Captain America-themed box.

After Captain America, the Happy Meal toys are due to be themed around The Garfield Movie, which is hitting theatres at the end of May, Kids Meal Wiki reveals/Listoftoys).

The animation sees the cat have an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father, a scruffy street cat who draws him into a high-stakes heist.

After that, Inside Out 2 toys are coming as Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust return for the much-anticipated sequel.

The movie sees chaos ensue in Riley’s mind as a new emotion turns up, Anxiety, and the others aren’t sure how to feel.

Then, the toys will be Despicable Me 4 themed as Gru comes back for a fourth time alongside his minions.

The villian welcomes a new member to the family, Gru Jr., who wants to torment his dad. Criminal mastermind Maxime Le Mal then escapes from prison and wants revenge.
