In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders are destroying Russian invaders along with their equipment with Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, according to the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
“Bradley infantry fighting vehicles are dismantling enemy armored vehicles near Avdiivka,” the report says.
Russian losses in Ukraine
As of May 2, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 1,030 Russian invaders over the day, bringing the total losses of the Russian army in personnel since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion to about 470,870 soldiers. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 20 Russian tanks.
In April 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 26960 Russian military, 4508 units of weapons and military equipment, and one aircraft. In addition, 36 air defense systems, 69 missiles, and 781 drones were eliminated.
