Derby County’s Eiran Cashin helped the Rams achieve promotion from League One by placing in elite company for one impressive statistic.
Derby earned promotion back to the Championship on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Carlisle United.
It sparked scenes of jubilation at Pride Park as supporters flocked onto the pitch to celebrate with the players.
The Rams have been reborn under the ownership of David Clowes, who says he rescued the club to celebrate days like this.
Their success this term was a marker for how far they’ve come in such a short space of time, with Paul Warne working miracles despite spending limitations being imposed on them by the EFL.
Indeed, Warne was forced into capturing several players on a free transfer or loan, as opposed to splashing the cash while watching his academy graduates flourish.

The 22-year-old has been phenomenal alongside Curtis Nelson in defence, committing himself to the cause both on and off the field.
Premier League side Brighton came close to signing the talented defender last summer but failed to finalise the paperwork in time.
Cashin remained at Pride Park and didn’t let that disappointment deter him as he flourished for Warne and signed a new long-term contract in February.
Now, he’s living out his boyhood dream by helping his side return to the Championship while gaining recognition for his displays. The Republic of Ireland star was named in the League One Team of the Season after starring in all but two of their matches.

There is a huge reason why Brighton were so keen on landing the ball-playing defender.
He’s the complete centre-back at the age of 22, showcasing his ability to read the game, shut down opposition attacks and calmly carry the ball out from deep.
Defensively, he’s been brilliant and his telepathic partnership with Nelson has helped the Rams keep an impressive 20 clean sheets this term.
According to the Not The Top 20 podcast, Cashin is one of five players in League One to have won more than 90 tackles and made more than 50 interceptions this term.
Arguably the best defender in the division, who boasts limitless potential, the Derby academy graduate is ready to take the Championship by storm as long as the Rams can hold onto him beyond the summer.
