After his confrontation with Jurgen Klopp at the weekend, Mohamed Salah returned to Liverpool training on Thursday.
It wasn’t as much as the result against West Ham United, which left a sour taste in everyone’s mouths.It was more the confrontation between Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp.
This has already been a bitter end to Klopp’s reign at Liverpool. But to see one of the best players to have played under him, going into such a public dispute on the sidelines was sad to see.
It was pretty much a marker of the frustrations we have all felt during the month of April as Liverpool’s entire season collapsed within a few weeks.
But the past is the past, and there are still three games to go until the end of the season.

Klopp and Salah are both professionals though, and they will have quashed whatever it was that they disagreed between each other on the touchline.
The focus now will be on giving Klopp a big send off before the end of the season and to celebrate his nine years left at the club.
During this week, Liverpool’s players were given time off to rest before the end of the season. However, on Thursday they returned back to training, and Salah was spotted looking very content and smiling by Sky Sports News’ cameras.
It’s great to see Salah back smiling and looking happy in training. We hope to see him return to his best form on the pitch as well.
He is very much so still Liverpool’s talisman, and someone who will be pivotal in the transition during the post-Klopp era.
