The Ukrainian Navy has adopted two patrol boats provided by Estonia. They were named Irpin and Reni, according to the Ukrainian Navy.

The Ukrainian military held a ritual of raising naval flags. The ceremony was attended by Navy Commander Vice Admiral Oleksii Neizhpapa and an Estonian delegation led by Estonian Navy Commander Commodore Jüri Saska.

The boats P01 Roland and P02 Risto, which were donated by Estonia, were named after the heroic city of Irpin and the city of Reni. The port of Reni is the closest to Estonia in terms of distance.

The participants honored the memory of the fallen Ukrainian soldiers and citizens.

“At the end of the ceremony, the guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the equipment of the boats, their driving characteristics and see the consequences of enemy attacks on the port infrastructure of Ukraine,” the statement says.
