'I start': Jack Grealish now shares what he does behind the scenes when he is injured

Jack Grealish has now given an insight into what he does behind the scenes he suffers an injury.

Perhaps the toughest part of a player’s career is injuries.

For starters, to even suffer the pain of an injury is a challenge.

To add to that, footballers are forced not to participate in an activity that has dictated their everyday living since they were children.

In addition, watching their teammates train and play games must be difficult to tune into.

However, that is the name of the game.

Jack Grealish shares what he does when he gets injured

One would argue that for a player, watching games while being injured is tougher than actually partaking in the contest.

A player has the power to change the course of the game when he or she is on the pitch.

But when injured, they must rely on their teammates to get the job done.

Of course, it goes without saying that players have to conduct rehab and recovery sessions to get up to speed.

Additionally, working in the gym is key to build up the strength of the muscle that they have injured.

However, what does one do to ensure their morale stays high during such a challenging period?

Jack Grealish revealed what he does during an interview with Sky Sports.

“When I’m injured, I start watching clips of myself and just remember how many good moments I have had in football. It brings back my love for football”, the £300,000-a-week man said.

“There’s nothing that beats it. It’s what I’m used to and it’s what I’ve done my whole life, so when I’m stuck indoors while the team are out training for a month or six weeks, it is difficult at times.”

Jack Grealish added that being injured pushed him to succeed even further at Manchester City.

“Being injured certainly gave me that extra motivation to come back and just play well again and try and succeed with City. I’m over the moon to be back and hopefully, I can have a strong end to the season.”

Smart from Jack Grealish to watch such videos

It is natural for a player to be down in the dumps when they are injured.

However, in our view, Jack Grealish has taken a smart measure to remind himself of what he has achieved on the pitch by looking back at his standout moments as a professional footballer.

The trophies he has won, the goals he has scored, the brilliant games he has had — these experiences must be some of the best he has ever had.

Looking back at such moments must have driven Grealish to work as hard as he can to return to the pitch feeling motivated and willing to recreate memories that last a lifetime.
