Eagles’ Jason Kelce returning to Jersey Shore for annual charity bartending event

There’s one job longtime Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is not leaving - part-time bartending.

The NFL star who retired from professional football earlier this year will be at a fundraising event for the Eagles Autism Foundation to Sea Isle City on Wednesday, June 26.

It is scheduled to take place at the same spot - the Ocean Drive Bar & Restaurant on Landis Avenue, according to an events page on the business’s website.

Kelce has hosted the event for the past several years, shifting between patrons at the bar’s outdoor area, serving drinks and raising upward of $100,000 for charity.

An email to Kelce’s publicist on Thursday was not immediately returned. Both he and his wife, Kylie, own a home on the Jersey Shore island. Since this NFL season ended, both have been seen in Sea Isle City, most notably when Jason joined a crowd of joggers for a charity run.

“It’s great,” Kelce told NJ Advance Media during 2021′s bartending event. “I was wondering how it was going to turn out with it being in the middle of the day on a Wednesday and who would show up, but there was a lot of energy out there, and we were raising a lot of money, so it was a lot of fun.”

Kelce spent his entire career with the Eagles after being drafted in 2011.

ESPN announced this week Kelce will join its Monday Night Football broadcast for the upcoming NFL season.
