Report: Infamous agent who cost West Ham millions trying to seal Brazilian winger's Hammers move

Kia Joorabchian is best remembered by West Ham United fans as the man who brought Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano to East London.

Iranian football agent Kia Joorabchian has been synonymous with West Ham since that incredible January transfer window in 2006.

Those transfers eventually landed the club with a bill of £18 million in compensation to Sheffield United and a record £5.5 million fine from the Premier League.

Joorabchian has been involved with the Hammers’ transfer dealings on multiple occasions since then, most recently when he helped facilitate Felipe Anderson’s transfer to Lazio back in 2021.

And we clearly haven’t seen the back of him.

This time though, let’s hope that the deal he’s working on is all above board!

Now he could be instrumental in bringing another extremely talented South American to East London…

The 52-year-old has his fingers in a lot of pies in the football world, so to speak.

He is extremely well-versed in the South American football market, and there isn’t much going on in that part of the world that he doesn’t know about.

Now, Joorabchian could be set to play a key role in West Ham signing a supremely talented young Brazilian…

Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola was speaking on the radio show Os Donos Da Bola, and he highlighted how the Iranian is working on a deal to bring Wesley to West Ham from Corinthians.

The Hammers are believed to be chasing the signing of the talented 19-year-old South American, after Tim Steidten recommended him following his scouting trip out to Brazil.

The young left winger has bagged six goals and four assists in 59 senior appearances for Corinthians (Transfermarkt).

He is extremely talented and would be a sensational addition for the Hammers.

With Kia Joorabchian apparently pushing Wesley towards West Ham, this one seems like it definitely could happen this summer.
