Aston Villa fans told to clear the way as police rush to medical emergency in stands

A man has collapsed during the Aston Villa - Olympiacos semi-final leg for the Europa Conference League.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on the Lower Holte end (L2) and started doing CPR on the man.

Fans were ordered to clear the end so that emergency services could attend to the man.

He was stretchered off and appeared to be conscious.

It is not yet clear why the man collapsed.

The second half has now started after a short delay.

An announcement was made as police rushed up to attend to the incident.

It said: "Could all supporters clear Holte Lower L2 and make sure the gangways are clear."
