Man City vs Wolves: TV channel, kick-off time, team news, prediction, referee and VAR

After enjoying a rare week off, Manchester City will return to the field on Saturday evening as they take on Wolves.

Manchester City eased past Nottingham Forest last time out to keep pace with Arsenal at the top of the table.

The Gunners will have another chance to pile the pressure on Pep Guardiola’s side as they face Bournemouth in the day’s early kick-off.

Yet, given they still have a game in hand, City know that as long as they win all their remaining games they will lift a fourth Premier League title in a row.

However, Wolves could be tricky opponents and already have one victory over the Blues this season.

Here’s all you need to know about the match.

Man City vs Wolves Team news

Guardiola will be hoping to welcome both Phil Foden and Ruben Dias back to his squad after they missed last week’s win over Nottingham Forest with a bout of illness.

However, things don’t look as hopeful for Ederson after the goalkeeper left the City Ground with his arm in a sling after going off injured at half-time.

The manager may offer an update on his squad in his pre-match press conference.

Wolves, meanwhile, are another side plagued with injuries as seven players could be unavailable.

Craig Dawson, Leon Chiwone, Pedro Neto, Noha Lemina, Santiago Bueno Sciutto, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde could all miss out.

Prediction

Though Wolves were brilliant in their win over City in October, both sides will look very different this time around.

City will have Rodri, who was suspended for the match at Molineux, in the side while Wolves will be without the dangerous Pedro Neto who caused them so many problems.

Additionally, the Blues are on a remarkable run of form while Wolves have just one win in their last eight games.

It might not be easy, but City should be able to get the win here.

Prediction: Manchester City 2-0 Wolves.
