She brightened her country chic look with a silk Hermes multicoloured scarf tied around her low ponytail.

The late Queen Elizabeth II frequently attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show since it was established in 1943.

Located on the doorstep of her Windsor Castle home, the Queen would often cheer on her husband Prince Philip, and watch her horses compete.

Following her death in 2022, Royal Family members have continued the tradition in her honour.

Last year, Prince Edward attended the event on the grounds of Windsor Castle and put on a virtual VR headset to try out a virtual riding simulator.

The Duchess of Edinburgh, 59, attended the first day of the riding show alone but was accompanied by her husband yesterday.

The couple were pictured trying out tasters of different drinks at the event's bar and browsing around a flower stall.

Sophie's appearance comes only a few days after the duchess became the first royal to visit Ukraine since Russia invaded the country in 2022.
