Europe will face great danger if Vladimir Putin wins the war against Ukraine, states British Foreign Secretary David Cameron.

He noted that Europe may face two scenarios. In one of them, Ukraine will be able to push the Russian troops out of its territory and achieve a fair peace. According to Cameron, this is the basis for Europe's prosperity.

"A future in which Putin is successful and Ukraine is pushed back is I think a very dangerous future," Cameron said.

He clarified that Moldova and even NATO countries such as Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia will be concerned that the Kremlin leader may turn his attention to them next time. And the authoritarian regimes in Iran and China will be watching closely.

"I think we are at an absolutely crucial tipping point in global affairs," Cameron added.

The threat of Russia's victory

Western officials are concerned about the possibility of Russia winning the war against Ukraine. In particular, they assume that in this case, Moscow will not stop at this point.

Recently, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský warned that Russian tanks would not stop on Ukrainian territory in case of victory.

At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the need to make Russia's victory in the war impossible.
