The Russian army has changed its tactics of using drones over the past 2-3 weeks, states the spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Illia Yevlash.

Yevlash said that the Air Force had noticed some changes in the tactics of drone use by the Russian Federation.

“We see that the tactics have changed. Recently, they didn't use Shahed-type drones or significantly reduced their number, compared to the situation two or three weeks ago. The enemy has now activated reconnaissance drones to adjust its missile strikes,” he said.

The spokesman also added that during missile attacks, Russian troops try to adjust their fire using drones.

He added that the situation is currently being analyzed, and the Ukrainian party is monitoring the use of reconnaissance UAVs, as they are smaller and more difficult to detect.

However, as Yevlash noted, the Air Force destroys them with air defense systems when possible.
