It is thought that Robin used his mobility scooter, which is white and has a roof covering, to travel into Cambridge city centre on Friday morning and was expected home by lunchtime.

Robin is of slim build, about 6ft tall, with short, light grey hair and was last seen wearing a brown knitted shirt, blue quilted sleeveless jacket, dark navy trousers and brown shoes.

Det Insp Mark Little said: “At the moment the last confirmed sighting we have of Robin is on CCTV footage near to a café in Trinity Street just before 11am yesterday morning.

“We have many officers working to find Robin, however I am now asking for the public’s help to report any sightings of him to us as a matter of urgency.

“To not return home and not be in contact is very out of character and understandably his family are incredibly worried about him.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police either via the online reporting form, web chat service or by calling 101.
