'Link up': Declan Rice raves about £27m Arsenal player following today's rout of Bournemouth

Arsenal made it four Premier League wins in a row on Saturday to pile the pressure on title rivals Manchester City.

The Gunners have well and truly bounced back from their losses to Aston Villa and Bayern Munich.

Arsenal went into the 12:30pm meeting with Bournemouth on the back of wins against Wolves, Chelsea and Tottenham.

And the Gunners ultimately made light work of the Cherries in a 3-0 home win, with Declan Rice shining on the day.

Arsenal dominated from the off at the Emirates Stadium and took the lead on the stroke of half-time thanks to a Bukayo Saka penalty.

Leandro Trossard then doubled the Gunners’ lead in the 70th minute with a clinical first-time finish after more great work from Rice to set him up.

And the summer signing wrapped up the scoring deep into injury time, firing home from a tight angle after connecting with Gabriel Jesus’ pass.

After the game, Trossard took to Instagram to revel in his side’s victory, and Rice was among those who replied.

The £105million man wrote “link upppppp”, referring to the two combining for Trossard’s goal.

Leandro Trossard proving to be a real bargain for title-chasing Arsenal

Trossard has proven an absolute bargain for Arsenal.

The £27million signing has 16 goals and two assists in all competitions this season.

Last season (or half-season, to be precise), he chipped in with one goal and 10 assists for the Gunners.

Arsenal are next in action next Sunday, when they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Gunners then wrap up the season when they host Everton at the Emirates Stadium on 19 May.
