Kai Havertz says Arsenal have a 'special' player who is like no one else in the world

Kai Havertz has said Arsenal have one player who is like nobody else in the world after yesterday’s win against AFC Bournemouth.

Mikel Arteta’s side ensured their first-place status yet again this weekend with an impressive victory at the Emirates Stadium, with Havertz winning a penalty as Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice scored in the second-half.

Whilst the penalty won by Havertz has since become a point of contention for the likes of Ian Wright, the performance from Arsenal alone was enough to get the job done, with Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola impressed with what he saw.

And for Havertz, the attacking midfielder was blown away by one Arsenal player.

Havertz lauds ‘unbelievable’ Bukayo Saka performance for Arsenal

Speaking to Sky Sports, Havertz was full of praise for Bukayo Saka’s display against Bournemouth, with the England international tucking away the penalty won by his German teammate in the opening half.

With 16 Premier League goals this season, Saka has shattered his personal best in the top-flight with the winger also assisting nine in the division, with the youngster’s overall record standing at 20 goals and 14 assists.

Indeed, Saka has somehow managed to take his game to a whole new level this season, and for Havertz, there’s no other player like the Arsenal superstar in the world.

Havertz said: “He’s unbelievable and shows it every week. I think he’s 21 or 22 and I’ve never seen a player like this. England are very lucky. He’s hungry every day and if you see him in training he’s special.”

Saka showed against Bournemouth why he is considered world-class

With seven shots against Bournemouth, Saka was Arsenal’s most dangerous player in front of goal in north London, with the winger having an excellent chance to make it 2-0 after the restart from close-range.

Whilst Saka did end up on the scoresheet via a spot-kick, the England international showed why he is considered world-class against Bournemouth, with the 22-year-old Arsenal’s most dangerous attacking outlet.

A constant threat down the wing, Saka was given space to work his magic and to guide his team to victory at home, and the forward adding to his goal tally was more than deserved from the youngster.
