'Amazing': BBC pundit left stunned by what 'world-class' Liverpool player did vs Tottenham

There was an ‘amazing’ performance produced by a Liverpool player against Tottenham today.

This was more like it from Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. Jurgen Klopp’s men were back to their very best, dominating the ball and creating plenty of chances against Tottenham.

It was a performance which saw Liverpool finally converting their chances as well, and showing what Jurgen Klopp’s style of football can offer at its peak.

Undoubtedly, one of the players who has captured that essence the most over the course of Klopp’s career is Mohamed Salah.

BBC pundit on what Mohamed Salah did that was ‘amazing’ against Tottenham

On Sunday afternoon, Salah came with a point to prove for Liverpool. After his spat with Jurgen Klopp in the Reds’ game last weekend against West Ham United, all the attention was on him.

The Egyptian has been such an integral part of what Klopp has achieved at Liverpool, and it would not have been fitting to see the pairs’ time at the club end in such a sad way.

This game against Tottenham was more like it. Just as Salah would have wanted he was back in the starting line-up and he was back to his best.

He headed in the opening goal of the game, and was making a big impact in his general play, even providing the assist to Harvey Elliott’s goal for Liverpool’s fourth.

Speaking on BBC 5 Live, Dion Dublin was left stunned by Mohamed Salah’s performance against Tottenham.

“Salah is on every single time,” Dublin said. “His positioning has been amazing. He has got his arm up saying, ‘Put it over the full-back, I am ready right now.”

There is no question about it Salah is ‘world-class’ and this performance was just more proof of that.
