James Beadle posts 12 word reaction after Sheffield Wednesday survival relegation

Against the odds, Sheffield Wednesday have done it and James Beadle has now reacted on social media.

The Owls were in a perilous position when Danny Rohl came to the club but yesterday, the champagne could finally be popped.

Danger averted, Wednesday will remain in the Championship again next season.

Now, the challenge is a great one for Rohl and Dejphon Chansiri will likely have big plans to push on next season.

Just a year after winning promotion from League One, it looked for a long time as though Wednesday would be returning.

However, Mansfield won’t be going into the Sat Nav next season – and there’s the small matter of a Steel City derby to look forward to instead.

There will also be a call going into Brighton – we anticipate – with Beadle’s future unclear right now.

He reacted on social media after yesterday’s win over Sunderland and it’s clear he’s enjoyed his time at Hillsborough.

James Beadle reacts after Sheffield Wednesday survive relegation

Beadle has been a wonderful loan signing for the Owls and his performances have helped the club remain in the Championship.

The youngster will now return to the Seagulls but he’s unlikely to earn a shot there next season.

The Owls will surely be asking the question regarding the young stopper – and perhaps goalkeeping coach Sal Bibbo will have a big say on the matter.

After yesterday’s game, the goalkeeper posted a reaction on X and it’s clear that he’s enjoyed his time at the club.

He said: “Mission accomplished. Thank you to all the Wednesday fans for your support.”

It was a short and sweet response but now the Owls fan base could have some sleepless nights when it comes to the custodian and his future.

Wednesday have to land Beadle again

In our view, Wednesday have to get this one right between the posts and signing Beadle again would be ideal.

At 19-years-old, the youngster is supremely talented and his 19 appearances for the Owls have showcased his class.

The player made brilliant saves against Watford, Blackburn and West Brom in particular and he will have welcomed the chance to play senior football in the Championship.

Rohl will be under no illusions that the goalkeeping department needs strengthening and signing Beadle on loan again is a complete no-brainer.

Wednesday will want to get their business done early this summer and the signing of Beadle does feel like one that should get done with minimal fuss.

Rohl wants players to buy into the Wednesday ethos and Beadle has definitely done that since he came to Hillsborough.
