Amber Turner’s dog, Buzz, “couldn’t move” and passed away, leaving a “big hole in their family”. She revealed to her ex, Dan Edgar, on TOWIE how her parents “weren’t very good” after his passing.
When Amber Turner went to drop off her dog to Dan, who she recently split from, he asked how her parents were doing, as well as their pet. She opened up on The Only Way is Essex about her family dog.
Amber Turner’s family dog dies
Buzz Bailey Turner, Amber’s family pet she grew up with since 2011, passed away in March. She revealed on TOWIE in April how he “couldn’t move” before they had to let him cross the rainbow bridge.
She said, “We got Buzz’s ashes back and my mum set up a little bed in the corner with his [their dog Oliver’s] teddy and his pillow, and he was just laying next to the bed.”
Her ex, Dan Edgar, tried to comfort her and said, “It’s sad. But listen, he was old, wasn’t he?” She agreed and said, “He was old and he wasn’t very well. He couldn’t move, could he?”
Buzz was parent’s ‘fourth child’
Amber revealed how Buzz Bailey Turner was her parents’ fourth child. They went on holiday while processing their grief, and were later joined by Amber, who was just as heartbroken.
She said how her parents are “not very good” but that she’s “glad they have gone away”. Amber continued, “It was like their child, wasn’t it? So I just think he’s left a big hole in our family.”
Dan said how it “wasn’t very nice the last time he saw him” before asking Amber how things have been since their break-up. Amber replied, “Everything else has been fine.”
Her own dog feels heartbroken
Amber revealed her own dog, Oliver, seems “a bit down” after the death of her close friend, Buzz. She dropped off the dog she shares with to her ex, Dan Edgar, who asked how he was doing.
Their cockapoo now has shared custody, meaning Dan and Amber take it in turns to look after Oliver. The pet often went to the beach and for walks with Buzz, his best friend, as they spent so much time together.
