Report shares what Arjen Robben told Man City's players in their dressing room after 5-1 win vs Wolves

It has been reported that Arjen Robben had a message to send to the Manchester City players in their dressing room after their 5-1 victory against Wolves.

Robben was also spotted at Anfield during Liverpool’s latest 4-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Dutch legend worked under Pep Guardiola’s guidance at Bayern Munich and the pair were reunited at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Arjen Robben played some of the best football of his career under the £378,846-a-week man’s tenure.

What Robben told the Man City players after they destroyed Wolves

Robben has been a part of plenty of title races.

At Chelsea, the retired winger won two back-to-back Premier League titles under Jose Mourinho’s keen eye.

The decorated speedster also won one La Liga title in 2008.

But at Bayern, Robben was a part of teams who dominated the Bundesliga in a way not many teams have been the gold standard for their domestic leagues.

In 2010, Robben won his first league title at the Allianz Arena.

However, Jurgen Klopp won two successive league titles with Borussia Dortmund.

Robben and Co. went on to win seven league titles in a row from that point, with Bayern’s 11-year stranglehold over the Bundesliga only ending this season.

The Daily Mail have reported that after Manchester City tormented Wolves, Arjen Robben went to their dressing room, congratulated them on the win and urged them to keep the pressure on Arsenal.

Robben was invited to meet City’s squad after the game.

The Manchester City players should listen to Arjen Robben

With Arjen Robben being a serial winner, the Manchester City players would likely have taken his advice after having a field day against Wolves.

Interestingly, Robben stressed that the Sky Blues cohort must continue to pile the pressure onto Arsenal.

Having been in several title races, the Champions League winner’s experience was perhaps talking in that instance.

Regardless, Pep Guardiola would perhaps be giving his players the same advice that Arjen Robben did.
