Mom, entrepreneur, and reality TV star Kim Kardashian has her fans gasping as she arrives at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. But, her fans are wondering if her own breathing is affected in any way considering how much her waist is cinched in by her corset dress.
Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala corset dress
It’s safe to say Kimmy’s corset dress is corsetting. The 43-year-old stuns as she strides down the Met Gala carpet wearing the Maison Margiela piece by John Galliano.
Many of Kim’s previous Met Gala looks have turned heads. But, this year her fans say she’s “slaying” like never before.
The mom-of-four maintains her status of ‘most interesting to look at’ as she pairs the metallic corset dress with a comfy-looking grey cardigan. Her corset and chainmail skirt combo is certainly one for the history books.
Speaking in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel this April, Kim revealed how she “warms up” her jewelry and chainmail outfits before wearing them because she hates being cold.

Kim’s ‘sweater’ causes ‘confusion’
Although tons of Kim’s fans are in awe of her stunning Maison Margiela ensemble, some take to her Instagram comments to say how they’re “confused.”
The confusion stems from Kim adding the grey cardi to her look. The corset is giving glitz and glam, but many are raising eyebrows at the Kardashians star’s toned-down accessory.
One fan commented to say the “sweater destroys the look” while more simply asked what purpose the cardigan served.
More said: “The jacket wasn’t necessary. Your dress looks nice though.”
Speaking to Vogue about her look, Kim said: “This is like the wildest night of my life in a garden and I just ran out and grabbed my boyfriend’s sweater and threw it on and had to get to work. My hair’s all messed up.”
‘What waist?’
Not only are Kim’s millions of followers critiquing her choice of accessory, but more are outraged by the size of her waist.
Many took to her IG comments to ask: “Girl… slay. But where did you put all your internal organs???”
Another asked: “Kimberly, where is your torso?.”
More asked the same questions: “What waist?”, “Kim where’s your waist?” and “Is your waist in the room with us even?”
Others suggested Kim is “sending women back 100 years” by “wearing a corset and cinching in her waist.”
More said of the Hulu star’s “insane” look: “You look stunning but how are you breathing?” and “I’m genuinely concerned about her breathing.”
